Product Features

2. Test pressure and inlet pressure
Test pressure: at room temperature 20°C clean water detection value.
Inlet pressure: In order to ensure that the pump is in the best operating state and the noise value is controlled at the lowest level, the inlet pressure must be adjusted correctly.
If the pressure in the pump is lower than the vaporization pressure of the conveying medium, the pump will cavitation. In order to ensure that the pump inlet has a minimum pressure, the maximum suction H(m)
can be calculated by formula

Pb: Atmospheric pressure (Pa), which can be considered as the system pressure (Pa) of the closed system in the closed pipeline system
NPSH: Net suction head (m), which can be read on the performance curve corresponding to the maximum flow.
Hf: Line loss (m) at the inlet, corresponding to the value at the maximum flow rate.
Hs: Safety margin (m), minimum 0.5m.
Through calculation, if H is a positive value, the pump can be installed and operated. If H is a negative value, it means that the pump can be installed and operated normally.
Note: In general, no calculation is made, and only in the following cases:
1, the liquid temperature is higher
2. The liquid flow rate exceeds the limit value
3. Large suction or long inlet pipeline
4. The system pressure is small
5. Poor import conditions -
Working conditions
